The Music of the Pearl

This symbolizes that the good and evil of the pearl are gone from the live of Kino and Juana. when the music of the pearl which was, in the beginning of the book just a music of hope and happiness, has been transformed into a meld of the music of evil and the music of the pearl that shows the greed and corruption that wealth can bring. The pearl is the thing that destroyed kino and Juana, and killed Coyotito. The pearl symbolizes influence of greed and evil on the community of a small town. and that greed and corruption tor the town apart and caused people to hate Kino and Juana for their wealth.
But the pearl itself is just an object and the evil it inspires is all just in humans. the pearl is not the evil, part of every human is influenced by money and can easily corrupted by wealth. This is a basic human fault that the author points out.
